It should be no surprise that Misquamicut’s main pull is none other than its pristine beach. With more than half a mile of waterfront, there’s plenty of room for playing in the sand or splashing in the waves. The beach is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including outdoor showers, composting toilets and numerous pavilions. If it’s a beautiful weekend, get there early to snag a spot in the parking lot–it can fill up on some summer days. 257 Atlantic Ave.
