A quick recap of cool stuff that went down this week in Rhode Island

Great Balls of Fire: The folks at Waterfire released the 2016 schedule for our little city to light the braziers once more.

Get Wrecked: The wreck of Captain Cooke’s famous ship is thought to be discovered in Newport harbor. It was called the HMS Endeavor during its exploring days and then the Lord Sandwich during the Revolutionary War– we like the second name best.

The Elephant in the Room: Ringling Bros. famous elephants will appear in their last show ever this Sunday in Providence.

Eat, Drink and Be Merry: At the Eat, Drink, RI Festival this past weekend, booze was poured, fine food was eaten and general revelry was had at this year’s festival. Yes, it was technically last week but it’s still worth mentioning!
